Talking about colours, bronze was the choice of metal and colour that reigned at Baselworld 2018 and the on-trend Oris Carl Brashear impressed many.
Breitling Navitimer 8 B01 – The New Face Of Breitling
A departure from the Navitimer 1, the new Breitling Navitimer 8 watches make a reference to the Huit Aviation Department, which was established in 1938 ‘to produce cockpit instruments as well as classic pilot’s watches for civilian and military use’. The new models are heavily influenced by the cockpit watches of the 30s, with no slide rule, and big bold Arabic numeral hour markers. This one here is the chronograph version in a 43mm steel case with a black leather strap. The contrast between the dial and sub-dials indicates that it runs on the Breitling manufacture movement – the automatic B01 calibre. With a sapphire crystal glass and caseback, this watch is water resistant to 100m.
